He added that there are several government agencies that have also adopted the face print technology to harness and facilitate the access of their customers to their services, and there is a plan to expand the service to include a larger number of banks and financial institutions.

Al Shamsi explained how to use the face print technology to open bank accounts, saying that a picture of the customer's face is taken through accurate security systems to obtain the face print to match it through the authentication portal, as well as the process of withdrawing funds, which is done in an easy and smooth way, where the customer writes The bank account number from which he wants to withdraw or transfer funds, and the face print is captured to match it with the record through the authentication portal in a secure and fast manner without the need for a bank card.

He stressed that during the past periods, fraud, seizure and theft of people through the “OTP” code increased, while the face print technology prevents the occurrence of such operations, as bank transfers are authenticated through the face print of the account holder and cannot be done without him. .

The face print service also enables bank payments to be made, without the need to enter the bank card or use the phone, as well as to withdraw money through the ATM machine smoothly through the face print service.

Al Shamsi stressed the ministry’s keenness to continue its efforts in providing digital solutions that enhance the UAE’s digital agenda, as this is in line with its efforts to enhance the efficiency of services and support banks in enhancing the security and safety of their digital services in the face of cybercrime threats, and looks forward to providing services with a greater impact in The financial sector and other sectors to provide more comfort to the residents of the state.
