To observe the magnetic and irresistible spectacle of the lava flow at the Sciara del fuoco in Stromboli, a cruise ship could have risked a lot, crossing the stretch of sea between the island and Strombolicchio.

This is what emerges from the photos of some residents of Stromboli, which, already plagued by a very serious fire in May and then by a devastating flood in August, could be today in the same conditions as the island of Giglio, which on 13 January 2012 saw in front of its coast the shipwreck of the Costa Concordia.

"I - explains the president of the Proloco Rosa Oliva - I don't know if such a thing is allowed by law, but I'm sure I've never seen such a large ship proceed along that stretch, frequented only by fishermen".

the route of the boat, headed to Spain and now off the coast of Sardinia, is impressive, so much so that it seems very close to the coast, but it is even more so when looking at the photos published on social networks , which many have reminded of the tragedy that saw the then commander Francesco Schettino as protagonist.

On the island, among other things, the orange alert is still in force, which prompted the mayor to request and obtain the arrival of a unit of the Coast Guard.

Both the Ingv (National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology) and the Laboratory of Experimental Geophysics of the University of Florence have underlined in the past few hours the possibility of a tsunami, created by a possible collapse of the underwater material under the Sciara del fuoco, unstable at cause of the erosion caused by the rolling of the lava and pyroclastic material caused by the last eruption.
