Gargash meets Russian Deputy Foreign Minister
Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to His Highness the President of the State, in the presence of Minister of State Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, met today Mikhail Bogdanov, Special Envoy of the President of the Russian Federation to the Middle East and African Countries, Deputy Russian Foreign Minister.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the progress of bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to enhance them to serve their common interests, in addition to discussing the latest regional and international developments of common interest.
Dr. Anwar Gargash stressed that the UAE policy will remain supportive of regional and global peace and stability, and make all efforts to reduce escalation and tensions in various regions of the world, stressing the need for continued serious consultations by all parties to the Ukrainian crisis to reach a peaceful settlement of the crisis.
For his part, the Special Envoy of the President of the Russian Federation valued the role played by the UAE and its permanent efforts to promote global peace and stability.
