On October 17, the Ministry of Defense reported that the Su-34 aircraft crashed in Yeysk while climbing during a training flight from the military airfield of the Southern Military District.
All training flights of military aircraft take place without ammunition.
The FAN also reported that the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case into the crash of the Su-34 aircraft in Yeysk.
