The head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations: there was no explosion after the fall of the Su-34 in Yeysk

According to him, during the fall, the plane hit the house and collapsed, resulting in a fuel spill.

“There was no explosion as such, because the nearby buildings did not even lose their glazing,” Kurenkov was quoted as saying by TASS.

He noted that the fire was caused by a fuel spill.

On October 17, the Ministry of Defense said that the Su-34 aircraft crashed in Yeysk while climbing during a training flight from the military airfield of the Southern Military District.

All training flights of military aircraft take place without ammunition.
