Amendments were made to the State Duma on the procedure for creating volunteer formations

According to the initiative, the amendments are aimed at prescribing the status of volunteers, their rights, and the procedure for payments in Russian laws.

In addition, according to the proposed changes, the Russian Ministry of Defense can create volunteer formations by decision of the Russian president.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko proposed to study the issue of recruiting women who have expressed a desire to become volunteers to work in hospitals.
