“A team of specialists from federal institutions of the Ministry of Health of Russia, including surgeons, neurosurgeons, combustiologists, an orthopedic traumatologist, an ophthalmologist, an otorhinolaryngologist, psychologists, psychiatrists, was sent to Yeysk to help local doctors,” said Alexei Kuznetsov, Assistant Minister of Health of Russia.

According to him, all necessary assistance is being provided to the victims.

The head of the department, Mikhail Murashko, also flew to the scene.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense reported that the Su-34 aircraft crashed in Yeysk while climbing during a training flight from the military airfield of the Southern Military District.

It is noted that at the site of the emergency in the courtyard of one of the residential areas, the fuel of the aircraft ignited.

All training flights of military aircraft take place without ammunition.

The governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratiev, said that 17 apartments, according to preliminary data, were damaged as a result of the crash of a Su-34 aircraft in Yeysk.

The FAN also reported that the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case into the crash of the Su-34 aircraft in Yeysk.
