A tough fight ensued, and consular staff kicked some protesters.



A man is dragged into the consulate and beaten.



The assault stopped after British police entered the consulate and pulled the man out.



You cannot enter the consulate without the consent of the other country.



Although British law applies to crimes committed inside the consulate, consular staff often have diplomatic immunity.



The Chinese consulate said in a statement that it was "unacceptable" to have a portrait humiliating the Chinese president.
