Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced the completion of partial mobilization in the capital.

“According to the information of the military commissar of Moscow, the tasks for partial mobilization, established on the basis of a presidential decree and assignments from the Ministry of Defense, have been completed in full,” Sobyanin wrote in his blog.

According to him, the collection points of the mobilized in the city were closed on October 17 at 14:00.

At the same time, summonses sent out in the process of mobilization to the place of residence and enterprises cease to be valid.

As the mayor noted, mobilization has become a test for thousands of Moscow families.

“Nevertheless, the fulfillment of the task of partial mobilization became possible primarily thanks to the responsibility, sense of duty and patriotism of Muscovites,” Sobyanin wrote.

Along with this, the mayor stressed that the city authorities will continue to provide direct support to the Ministry of Defense in logistical support, as well as help improve life in military units where Muscovites serve.

Earlier, by order of the Moscow mayor's office, a decision was made on additional payments to Muscovites drafted into the ranks of the RF Armed Forces in the amount of 50 thousand rubles a month.

On October 12, Sobyanin said that the mayor's office had also decided that relatives and relatives of those mobilized could apply for these funds for efficiency.

Prior to this, Sobyanin also announced the introduction of a number of support measures for relatives of mobilized Muscovites.

In particular, all members of their families will be able to count on one-time material assistance, psychological assistance, assistance in obtaining social and other payments, and legal advice.

For spouses and children of working age, the organization of vocational training and additional professional education and assistance in finding a job are provided.

The children of the mobilized received the opportunity of early enrollment in kindergartens, exemption from payment for classes in circles and sections, and a number of other support measures.

In turn, the elderly relatives of the mobilized, the disabled and children with disabilities received the opportunity to receive care at home, regardless of the composition and without taking into account the level of family income, as well as the possibility of priority referral to veterans' homes and other stationary social service institutions, regardless of the composition of the family.

On October 17, a bill will be submitted to the State Duma, which proposes to cancel the deferment from conscription for military service for mobilization for senators and deputies.

This was announced by the leader of the faction "Fair Russia - For the Truth" Sergei Mironov.

“I believe that a deferment for senators and deputies should be granted on a general basis.

There should be no concessions,” he wrote on Telegram.

The document prepared by the deputies also proposes to call for military service for partial mobilization, first of all, employees of the Russian Guard, the Foreign Intelligence Service, the FSB, the military prosecutor's office, the Investigative Committee, military units of the federal fire service, rescue military units, dismissed from military service and enlisted in the reserve of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation .

At the same time, the authors of the document propose to expand the list of persons entitled to deferment from military conscription for partial mobilization.

As Mironov explained, the bill states that a deferment should be granted to citizens who are recognized as partially fit for military service for health reasons.

In turn, those temporarily unfit for military service for health reasons are invited to be granted a deferment for up to one year.

Among other things, citizens undergoing alternative military service, relatives of the dead military who served on conscription should also receive a deferment.

Along with this, it is noted that the deferment from mobilization announced by the Russian Ministry of Defense for men with three or more dependent children should be separately prescribed in the legislation.

The authors of the document also call for mandatory deferment from mobilization to citizens engaged in constant care for close relatives, guardians or trustees of a minor sibling, if there are no other relatives who can provide permanent care, fathers of disabled children, full-time and part-time students forms of education, graduate students, school teachers, university professors.
