According to the "Capitol Hill" report on the 14th local time, former US President Trump sent a letter to the House committee investigating the riots on Capitol Hill on January 6.

In the letter, Trump sidestepped the question of whether he would testify and further reiterated his claims that the 2020 election results were fraudulent.

  Trump's letter contained numerous photos and reiterated allegations of election fraud in five states.

  Earlier, the U.S. House of Representatives Special Investigation Committee voted unanimously on the 13th local time to subpoena Trump and ask him to testify about his role in the January 6 incident.
