On Friday, the Svea Court of Appeal acquitted company manager Karl Hedin of the charge of serious hunting offences. The Court of Appeal considers, just like the district court before, that it has not been proven that Hedin and his co-defendants hunted wolves in the fall of 2018. - You can say that I am disappointed because I had hoped for a conviction, says Chamber prosecutor Lars Magnusson.
Lars Magnusson sees it as unlikely that the case would be appealed again.
- There is no interest in precedent because it concerns a matter of evidence.
It is simply a matter of judgement.
I have made my assessment, the district court and the Court of Appeal have made another, he says.
