Danish TV2 Lorry has taken the test, literally, on the new rules in the wake of the energy crisis.

According to Professor Jørn Toftum, an expert on indoor environments at the Technical University of Denmark, most people with sedentary work perform best at a room temperature of 21 degrees.

However, the new mandate of a maximum of 19 degrees in the offices can be lived with, he assures.

- You can put on a little more clothes, or improve the body's own heat production through physical activity, says Toftum.
