Full right.

The three parties of the Swedish right have agreed to form a government, with the unprecedented support of the far right.

"The Moderates (conservatives), the Christian Democrats and the Liberals will form a government and cooperate with the Democrats of Sweden in Parliament", announced Friday the leader of the Moderates Ulf Kristersson, tipped for the post of Prime Minister, which will be attributed Monday.

After eight years of social democratic government, the right is thus back in control after an unprecedented rapprochement with the Democrats of Sweden (SD), the big winners of the September 11 elections with a record score of 20.5% of the vote. .

If he does not enter the government - an option rejected by the other right-wing parties - the party led by Jimmie Åkesson is the main parliamentary force of the new majority, with 73 seats.

By adding the Moderates (68), the Christian Democrats (19) and the Liberals (16), the "constellation" of the right has a narrow absolute majority of 176 seats, against 173 for the opposition led by outgoing Prime Minister Magdalena Anderson.

Fewer refugees, more nuclear reactors

The new government has unveiled a roadmap including measures to fight crime and reduce immigration.

The quota for welcoming refugees will increase from 6,400 last year to 900 per year during the four years of mandate, and it will now be possible "to expel foreigners for bad behavior".

The Liberals conceded to the far right the establishment of search zones in certain sensitive neighborhoods, heavier sentences for repeat offenders and the possibility of testifying anonymously in court.

A plan for the construction of new nuclear reactors was also unveiled.
