“Until further notice, heads and employees of organizations subordinate to the health committee must refrain from business trips to foreign countries, including the territories of CIS member states,” TASS quoted an extract from the committee’s letter.

According to the document, the stated recommendations concern, among other things, personal trips.

Exceptions are travel to the CIS countries.

The committee confirmed the authenticity of the letter and noted that the measures are aimed at ensuring the safety of employees of medical institutions.

The Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) previously stated that in the first half of 2022, Russians began to travel abroad 81.1% more often than last year.
