According to the Federal Council of Switzerland, the measure was taken in connection with the entry into Russia of the DPR, LPR, as well as the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. 

It is clarified that 30 individuals are subject to financial restrictions and travel-related sanctions, while seven organizations are subject to financial restrictions.

So, this list now corresponds to the EU's restrictive list of anti-Russian sanctions, the council notes.

At the end of September, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, during negotiations with Swiss President Ignazio Cassis on the sidelines of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, called on Bern to return to a neutral policy.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that the sanctions policy of Western countries could lead to a recession in the global economy.
