The President of the Russian Federation spoke again, this Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at a forum devoted to energy in Moscow.

Mr. Putin accused “

certain Western politicians

” of destroying the global market economy.

By wanting to cap the price of Russian oil, they “

threaten,

he said,

the well-being of billions of people

 ”.

The Head of State also affirmed that the leaks that affected the Nord Stream gas pipelines were part of “

international terrorism

”.

The leaks that affected the Nord Stream underwater gas pipelines, linking Russia to Germany, are an "

act of international terrorism

", Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday.

He then designated as responsible those to whom, according to him, the incident benefits, while the responsibility of his country is not excluded, but that declarations of American hostility in particular, old or recent, vis-à-vis of this system, have resurfaced since the explosions.

Who is behind this sabotage?

Clearly, someone who wants to finally succeed in breaking ties between the European Union and Russia permanently.

Someone who wants to put an end to Europe's autonomy, weaken its industrial potential, in order to take over the market.

And of course, someone who is technically, I underline “technically”, capable of organizing such explosions.

Who has already resorted to this type of sabotage, and been caught red-handed, but gone unpunished.

“

The beneficiaries are clear

 ”

,

explains the Russian number one.

Because this incident reinforces the geopolitical importance of the remaining gas transport systems, the one that crosses the territory of Poland and Ukraine, and which was built at its own expense by Russia.

There is also the United States, of course, which can now supply its energy at high prices.

Putin challenges Europeans

According to Putin, part of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, having never been put into service because of the war in Ukraine, is still working, even if the other tubes of the Nord Stream system will not be repaired, he specifies. , only if their operation is guaranteed.

The Russian president thus ensures that Moscow remains able to deliver gas to Europeans via this remaining segment.

Russia is ready to resume deliveries

 ," he said.

“

The ball is in the EU's court.

If she wants to, she just has to turn on the tap.

 »

And Vladimir Poutine to suggest, without going into detail, to make pass in the future the essence of the Russian gas via the Black Sea.

We could, he simply develops, “

pass the main delivery routes of our fuel and our gas via Turkey, by creating in Turkey the most important gas hub

 ”.

Ordinary Europeans are suffering.

In one year, their electricity and gas bills have more than tripled.

The population, as in the Middle Ages, began to stock up on wood for heating this winter.

In his narrative, the head of the Russian Federation accused the G7 and the EU of “

destroying

” the global energy market by trying to cap the price of Russian oil.

In his eyes, "

some Western politicians are actually destroying the global market economy

 " and "

threatening the well-being of billions of people

" with this project.

Imagine that the famous cap on oil prices is introduced.

But who can then guarantee that the same ceiling will not be set in other sectors of the economy – in agriculture, in the production of semiconductors, fertilizers, metallurgy?

And not only for Russia, but also for any other country in the world.

No one will ever give guarantees.

With their adventurous decisions, some Western politicians are destroying the global market economy, and in reality they pose a threat to the well-being of billions of people.

Neoliberal ideologues in the West are already experimenting with the destruction of traditional values.

Now, apparently, they are also setting out to destroy entrepreneurial freedom and private initiative.

Diplomatic appeal to Turkey

This Wednesday, the Kremlin's diplomatic adviser, Yuri Ouchakov, spoke of the meeting between Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, scheduled for Thursday.

Three times in the past three months, the two men have already met.

The Turkish president also meets regularly with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky.

While Turkey is watching closely - because of its presence in the Black Sea, also because of the situation around the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant, its position as a member of NATO, and its dependence on Russian gas and oil – the events in Ukraine, the Russian adviser says he expects the Turkish president to make a concrete offer to mediate on the conflict to Vladimir Putin.

Erdogan will probably officially offer something

", considers Yuri Ushakov, saying he expects an "

interesting and useful discussion

 ".

“

The Turks offer their mediation.

If (Russian-Ukrainian) contacts were to take place, they would be made on Turkish territory.

»

And to praise the position of Ankara, which “

does not join in principle the illegitimate Western sanctions

” imposed on Russia because of its offensive in Ukraine.

This "

gives additional impetus to the strengthening of Russian-Turkish economic cooperation

", he said.

Ankara has tried, since the Russian offensive of February 24, to maintain its relationship with kyiv and Moscow, playing a role in a prisoner exchange in September between Russia and Ukraine, or even by favoring under the under the aegis of the UN, in July, an agreement between the two countries allowing the export of Ukrainian cereals via the Black Sea and the Bosphorus.
