Beware of the violation while driving in the school district as a result of wrong behavior

The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai has warned parents and drivers to avoid erroneous traffic behaviors and practices while driving in the streets around schools, in order to avoid fines and fines.

The authority told "Emirates Today" that the wrong traffic behaviors, shown below, generally affect traffic and the safety of road users, stressing the need for parents to abide by traffic and traffic regulations and traffic safety rules when delivering children to or taking them to schools.



The authority called on parents and drivers to be calm and patient at peak times when delivering students or taking them home, to slow down the speed in school areas, to pay attention to the mistakes of others, to leave a sufficient safety distance, and to respect all road users.



The authority has identified a set of behaviors that must be discontinued in order to avoid exposure to violations, which include the following:



1- Stopping suddenly in the middle of the road, obstructing traffic.



2- Parking in the wrong places or on sidewalks, or using sidewalks to reach dirt areas or adjacent streets.



3- Stopping the vehicle on the street opposite the school and leaving the children to cross the street without the designated places.



4- Overtaking vehicles incorrectly, which may pose a serious danger to students and children in school areas.



5- Drivers stop when buses stop and raise the stop sign installed on the side of school buses.



6- Leaving some children in the vehicle while it is running while driving their children to school, which may lead to many dangers, including suffocation inside the car.



7- Not wearing a seat belt for children over the age of ten is one of the most dangerous and wrong traffic behaviors, or allowing children to get off the left door of the vehicle.
