As the Ukrainian army intensified its reversal offensive against the Russian army, a meeting attended by about 50 countries, including the United States, was held, and the participating countries confirmed that they would continue to provide long-term military support to Ukraine.

This meeting is held regularly by the United States to discuss military assistance to Ukraine, and on the 12th, in conjunction with the NATO = North Atlantic Treaty Organization Defense Ministers' Meeting held in Brussels, the capital of Belgium. The 6th meeting was held in April 2011, and was attended by about 50 countries, including the United States and European countries.



“Despite President Putin’s new offensive, Ukrainian forces turned the tide, liberating the city from Russian occupation and recapturing thousands of square kilometers of territory,” said U.S. Defense Secretary Austin. Efforts such as security support and training by each country were indispensable."



At the meeting, Ukrainian Defense Minister Reznikov also participated and discussed weapons necessary on the battlefield, confirming that each country will continue to provide long-term military support to Ukraine.



At a press conference after the meeting, Austin said, "Ukraine has retaken considerable territory in the eastern and southern parts of the country, and we expect these activities to continue throughout the winter." He stressed the need to continue to provide assistance.
