According to a judicial source, the incident occurred on October 4 at the Scheurer-Kestner high school in Thann, west of Mulhouse.

She adds that the student, “who got into a verbal fight in class with the teacher, would have complained about it when she got home”.
"His uncle, who would have mentioned the name of Samuel Paty during the exchange with the teacher in front of the school, was placed in police custody, and indicted for death threats", after a complaint from the teacher, added this judicial source.
He was released under judicial supervision, with a ban on contact with the professor and on the outskirts of the establishment.
“Constant attention”
The teenager will be summoned later by the examining magistrate to be heard on facts of apology for terrorism.
In his high school, a disciplinary council must rule on this file soon.
The Haut-Rhin establishment "has been the subject of constant attention from the rectorate and state services" since this incident, indicates the rectorate.
A mobile security team has been present there since October 6 "to guarantee security, support the teams and provide psychological support", specifies the rectorate, according to which "a listening cell for the staff has been set up".

Monday, "two members of the Values of the Republic (EAVR) team of the academy" were dispatched to the site in order to provide "the appropriate educational response", specifies the rectorate.
