Nebenzia spoke about double standards in voting in the UN General Assembly

He commented on the decision taken by the UN General Assembly regarding the format of voting on a Western resolution that does not recognize the results of referendums in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.

According to him, UN General Assembly Chairman Chaba Kyoryoshi, who decided not to choose a secret voting format, "played for the authors of the resolution" and "did everything to manipulate the procedure of the General Assembly."

Nebenzya called this outrageous, noting that he had never "seen such manipulations with the General Assembly."

“This is obviously a double standard and a violation of the integrity of the chairmanship,” he said.

Earlier, Nebenzia proposed to immediately vote on a Western resolution that does not recognize referendums in the republics of Donbass, as well as in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions on the issue of joining Russia, but UN General Assembly Chairman Chaba Kyoryoshi rejected this proposal.
