In the presence of the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, the opening session of the conference celebrating the

160th anniversary of the establishment of the Court of Auditors

was held in Turin , which opened with the greetings of the President of the Regional Council, Stefano Allasia, of the mayor of Turin, Stefano Lo Russo and with the presentation by the president of the Court of Auditors, Guido Carlino.

The money from the NRP will have to be used with care, prudence and transparency.

Not only because the Court of Auditors will monitor waste, fraud, conflicts of interest

: the measures that will be taken in the coming months will be decisive for economic development and even for social stability.

This is a synthesis of the meaning of the various interventions that took place during the conference.

"The period - warns the president, Guido Carlino - is very complex. Everything is characterized by the NRP and we are committed to ensuring that it can be implemented effectively, efficiently and quickly".

The magistrate

spares no mention of the risk of infiltration by organized crime.

Maria Teresa Polito, president of the control section of the Court for Piedmont, recalls that "the difficulties of the situation and the increase in inequalities accentuate the need to protect the weakest sections of the population".

Speaking openly about "

social cohesion at risk"

in front of the President of the Republic is Stefano Lo Russo, Mayor of Turin: "We need to give answers to the great questions that shake our country. We need vigorous measures that put the crucial question of work at the center. And we need a shared sense of responsibility of the whole public system ".
