Intruders were frightened by caged birds - had to be taken to hospital after falling from a balcony

The incident took place in Valla in Katrineholm municipality on Tuesday evening.

A man had for some reason entered a residence where he did not belong.

Once inside, the man is said to have been frightened by caged birds in the home.

- From what I understand, this person was probably afraid of birds or in a condition that made birds scary, says Johnny Gustavsson.

Several meters high fall

The man rushed out onto the balcony and fell down.

According to the police, the fall was several meters high.

An ambulance was called to the scene, and the man had to be taken to hospital for treatment.

According to the police, he was then awake and able to speak.

Now he is suspected of domestic violence.
