Both men are suspected of first degree murder and attempted murder, and secondly of aiding and abetting murder and aiding and abetting attempted murder.
However, the degree of suspicion has been changed from the weaker reasonable suspect to probable cause suspect.
"Suspicions have strengthened"
- Investigative work over the weekend has led to the suspicions against both of them being strengthened and that I now believe that there are probable grounds for the criminal suspicions., says chamber prosecutor Mikael Carlsson in a press release.
It was last Thursday that a 19-year-old and a 16-year-old were found with gunshot wounds in Saltskog in Södertälje.
The 19-year-old later died of his injuries and the 16-year-old is being treated for serious injuries.
The shooting was the fifth in two weeks in Södertälje.
