“It is worth paying off the NATO satellite constellation, which is currently used by Ukrainian troops for reconnaissance and guidance of missile strikes using the HIMARS MLRS in the Kherson, Zaporozhye regions, as well as the DPR and LPR,” the RIA Novosti deputy said.

According to him, there are weapons capable of doing this, including the Peresvet complex.

“These satellites are destroying our people today, so we have every right to extinguish them and put them out of action, as they contribute to aggression against Russia,” the parliamentarian believes.

He argued that without satellite tracking, HIMARS "will no longer carry significant danger, as they will lose their accuracy."

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu previously said that more than 70 military and over 200 civilian NATO satellites are working "against Russia."

As the former head of Roskosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, noted, NATO is transmitting data collected by Western private satellite operators to the Ukrainian army.
