An educator indicted for touching a minor, in the Tarn

A man was indicted in the Tarn for touching a minor, reports

last Wednesday.

This volunteer sports educator was involved in two associations in Saint-Sulpice-la-Pointe and is the subject of a complaint filed by a young woman.

The latter, aged 20, denounced the facts that she would have suffered in the 2010s.

She was then about ten years old and lived near the man who was about sixty years old.

Former high-level athlete, the educator had been the subject of a previous investigation, indicates the regional daily.

In 2020, a teenager had also denounced inappropriate behavior on her part.

But no prosecution had been initiated.

A survey of parents

The gendarmes are in charge of the investigation which began last week.

According to our colleagues, the families of the children registered in the clubs where the suspect intervened received an e-mail inviting them to report any inappropriate behavior.

The retired educator was placed under judicial supervision with a ban on continuing his activities with minors.
