This is the result of a clash between Brest and Lorient supporters on Sunday morning before the Ligue 1 football derby in downtown Brest, we learned from a police source.
Around 11 a.m., “supporters claiming to be from Lorient were attacked by those from Brest.
It was quite fast, there were a hundred people involved.
Our intervention made it possible to dissuade other confrontations, ”indicated this police source, specifying that a man had been hospitalized.

On images visible on social networks, we see a fight between men dressed in black and for some hooded as well as jets of smoke on a main Brest artery.
The match between Lorient and Brest started at 3 p.m. and is classified in category 4 by the National Division for the Fight against Hooliganism (DNLH).
Two other risky derbies take place on Sunday in Ligue 1 with Rennes-Nantes at 5:05 p.m. and Lille-Lens at 8:45 p.m.
