It was the social networks that gave the alert on Sunday October 9 and a few hours later, the director general of the CNHU confirmed, in a press release, "

4 deaths of patients recorded on Friday in the early morning

".

But it says nothing about the conditions

It is the Minister of Health who will indicate following the boss of the hospital "

that a malfunction in the intensive care unit would have led to the death of 4 of our compatriots

".

He described the situation as "

serious

" and offered the government's condolences to the bereaved families.

The malfunction of which the minister speaks is, for the relatives of the victims, the power cut that occurred overnight from Thursday to Friday.

Several sources confirm the power cut.

On Friday, the public prosecutor opened an investigation with the criminal brigade.

The judicial police moved to the scene and started the hearings.

We learn that Patrice Talon has seized the Regulatory Authority of the health sector.
