“High-precision weapons”: Russian Aerospace Forces attacked the points of deployment of foreign mercenaries on the island of Khortytsya

The Russian Aerospace Forces launched strikes on the points of deployment of foreign mercenaries on the island of Khortytsya and the Ukrainian special forces brigade "Bars" in the Zaporozhye region, said the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.

“The high-precision weapons of the Russian Aerospace Forces delivered strikes at the points of temporary deployment of units of foreign mercenaries “Foreign Legion” on the island of Khortytsya and the special purpose brigade “Bars” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine near the city of Zaporozhye,” Konashenkov said during a briefing.

Earlier, the chairman of the movement “We are together with Russia”, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, Vladimir Rogov, in a conversation with RIA Novosti, said that the Kyiv regime had accumulated “an unimaginable number of mercenaries” on the line of contact in the Zaporozhye region.

According to him, militants from more than 30 countries are known.

At the same time, on the air of the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio station, he indicated that the largest number of mercenaries falls on Poland.

“It is clear that they are not on the front line, that is, they are only on the most important and necessary sections of the line of contact, the front line, but nevertheless, their number, according to various estimates, already reaches 5 thousand in the Zaporozhye region,” TASS quotes him.

Also, the official representative of the Ministry of Defense spoke about the successes of the Russian military during the special operation over the past day.

So, in the Kupyansky direction, attempts were repelled by two battalions of the 14th and 92nd mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reinforced by foreign mercenaries, in the direction of the settlements of Kislovka, Kharkov region and Kuzemovka, Luhansk People's Republic.

More than 50 Ukrainian servicemen, one tank and nine armored fighting vehicles were destroyed.

“As a result of the fire damage of the advanced reserves of the 92nd mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of ​​​​the village of Zagoruykovka, Kharkiv region, Russian troops destroyed about 60 Ukrainian servicemen, two tanks and three armored vehicles,” Konashenkov added.

In the Krasnolimansky direction, the Ukrainian military did not take active offensive actions, limiting themselves to reconnaissance of the front line of defense of the Russian Armed Forces.

At the same time, four Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups were destroyed on the territory of the LPR, 17 militants, two pickup trucks with heavy machine guns and one car were liquidated.

In the Lugansk direction, the Russian military repelled enemy attacks, destroying over 120 Ukrainian fighters, three tanks, seven armored combat vehicles and 11 vehicles.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost about 100 soldiers, two tanks, five armored fighting vehicles and six vehicles.

In the Nikolaev-Kryvyi Rih direction, the Kyiv regime did not undertake large-scale offensive actions as a result of significant losses.

At the same time, near Novaya Kamenka, Kherson region, during concentrated artillery strikes on the advancing column of the 128th mountain assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, an attempt to concentrate enemy troops was thwarted.

Five columns, manpower, military equipment and artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at firing positions in the areas of the settlements of Chervonoe, Novovoskresenskoye and Petropavlovka of the Kherson region were also hit.

“Losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this direction amounted to more than 80 Ukrainian servicemen killed, two tanks, 22 armored combat vehicles, seven infantry fighting vehicles.

In the Andreevsky direction, during enemy attacks, Russian troops destroyed up to 90 Ukrainian servicemen, one tank, 12 armored combat vehicles and three vehicles.

In addition, during a high-precision strike by the Russian Aerospace Forces, the ammunition depot of the 61st Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed, in which more than 200 missiles for the American HIMARS MLRS, as well as Uragan, were stored.

It was located in the Bereznegovatoe district of the Nikolaev region.

According to the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, in just a day in the Nikolaev-Krivoy Rog direction, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to more than 200 Ukrainian servicemen, three tanks, 41 armored combat vehicles, three guns and seven vehicles.

As a result of strikes by operational-tactical and army aviation, missile forces and artillery, four depots of ammunition and rocket and artillery weapons in the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, as well as two American AN / TPQ-37 counter-battery radar stations were destroyed.

The control posts of the 14th mechanized, 81st airmobile brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 9th regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine in the DPR, Kharkiv and Zaporozhye regions were also hit.

In turn, air defense systems destroyed six Ukrainian drones, shot down four shells of the American MLRS HIMARS, five shells of the Uragan and Alder MLRS.

“Fighter aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces shot down a Su-24 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force in the area of ​​the Dobroye settlement in the Nikolaev region and a Ukrainian Mi-24 attack helicopter in the area of ​​the Mirolyubovka settlement in the Kherson region,” Konashenkov said.
