The Russian Embassy sent a note of protest to Chisinau in connection with the action at the diplomatic mission in Moldova

“A note of protest has been sent to the Moldovan side,” the embassy’s Telegram channel says.

They explained that on the evening of October 7, “with the connivance of the authorities,” the building of the Russian diplomatic mission was damaged by firecrackers.

In addition, the attackers put "offensive inscriptions on the fence of the diplomatic mission."

The Embassy expects those responsible to be punished, the statement said.

On September 20, the chairman of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to open a case into the attack on the building of the Russian embassy in Ottawa.
