Polishchuk urged the Kyiv authorities to respect the choice of residents of the liberated regions.
Otherwise, he noted, negotiations would not be possible.
Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin said that Russia is ready for negotiations with Ukraine.
Meanwhile, the Russian president added that Moscow would not discuss the choice of the republics of Donbass, Zaporozhye and the Kherson region during the negotiations.
