In an interview with the Prime agency, Dzgoeva explained that the amount of the pension is the sum of the accumulated points that are awarded for each year worked.

However, the expert noted, it is possible to accrue points for the period when a person did not work, but was engaged in important social activities.

This, in particular, includes caring for a child, a disabled person or an elderly person, as well as serving in the army.

“However, all these periods will be counted in the insurance period only on the condition that there was paid work before or after them.

Otherwise, they will not be included in the seniority and assessed in pension points, ”explained Dzgoeva.

Earlier, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labour, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs, Svetlana Bessarab, in an interview with NSN, told details about the Social Fund of Russia.
