The United Nations is working to expand and extend the agreement to export Ukrainian grain from the Black Sea

Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and his team are working on expanding and extending the agreement on Ukraine's grain exports from the Black Sea before it expires in late November, a United Nations spokesman said on Friday.

Spokesman Stephane Dujarric said Guterres' team was "also working actively to remove recent obstacles to facilitating Russian grain and fertilizer exports."

He added that the UN aid coordinator, Martin Griffiths, and the world's top trade official, Rebecca Greenspan, would travel to Moscow in about a week to discuss the matter.
