So many and at the same time so few have praised the Russian president on his birthday.

Vladimir Putin is

celebrating his 70th birthday and his followers seem to be fewer and fewer.

Alexander Lukashenko, the Belarusian leader, gave a tractor to Vladimir Putin.

As for the patriarch Kirill, faithful among the faithful, he, in all modesty, greeted "

a president placed in power by god

".

The leader of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, who committed his men to the side of the Russian army in Ukraine, also went overboard in describing "

one of the most influential and exceptional personalities of contemporary times

".

The president of the lower house of the Russian parliament, Vyacheslav Volodin also went there with his sweet word, as did the self-proclaimed leaders of the separatist regions of Donbass.

These are the main reactions.

Several Russian media in exile have claimed in recent days that the Russian elite, discreet today, has been deeply annoyed by the actions of President Putin for several months.

The president remained mysterious about the celebrations related to his birthday.

He met in the afternoon in Moscow, several Heads of State of former Soviet countries.

In the past, he had often concluded this day with an evening in his hometown, St. Petersburg.
