The question of sexist and sexual violence has been deeply stirring French politics for some time, and could even be invited into the debates for the presidency of the Republicans.

The deputy of Lot Aurélien Pradié, candidate for the presidency of the party, has indeed announced that he wants to table a bill to create a specialized court on this violence.

Taking the children's judge as a model, he pleaded for a court "which is capable, like Spain, of being seized quickly by the victims" and "of processing requests very quickly".

“I am going to table a new bill for the creation of a specialized jurisdiction next week”, affirmed on LCI the secretary general of LR, already at the origin of a text on the wearing of the anti-reconciliation bracelet end of 2019.

He has for several times pleaded for the creation of a specialized court, promised by the LR presidential candidate Valérie Pécresse during her campaign.

Asked about the advisability of an internal cell at LR dedicated to the fight against gender-based and sexual violence, the secretary general of the party recalled having "never been in favor of the creation of these cells".

"What is needed is not to create sub-justices or parallel justices in our political families which never work, which often moreover create deviations" but "that justice can be seized easily, quickly and to decide quickly, it is the vocation of this jurisdiction” that he proposes, he specified.
