The ruling party of Kazakhstan proposed to nominate Tokayev as a presidential candidate in the elections

“I propose the candidacy of our president, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev,” TASS quoted party chairman Yerlan Koshanov as saying.

He noted that the construction of a new successful republic has begun in the country.

Earlier, Tokayev signed a decree scheduling snap presidential elections for November 20.
