China News Service, October 6. According to Yonhap News Agency, a survey data released by four South Korean polling agencies on the 6th showed that South Koreans had a favorable rate of 29% and a negative rate of 65% for President Yin Xiyue’s administration performance.

On September 20, 2022, local time, South Korean President Yoon Seok-wook delivered a speech at the 77th United Nations General Assembly.

According to the report, four South Korean polling agencies conducted a joint survey of 1,000 people over the age of 18 from October 3 to 5.

The results showed that Yin Xiyue's policy favorable rate was 29%, down 3 percentage points from the last survey conducted two weeks ago; the negative rate was 65%, up 5 percentage points.

This is also the second week of August (28%) after the favorable rating fell below 30% again.

The analysis believes that the decline in the praise rate is mainly affected by Yin Xiyue's "disrespectful speech" and "diplomatic overturning" and other related disputes that occurred during Yin Xiyue's overseas visits.

Regarding the controversy over "disrespectful speech", 64% of the respondents believed that "the president's blunders caused a diplomatic overturn", and 28% believed that "the media made distorted reports without confirming the factual relationship".

For the question that Yin Xiyue should apologize for this, 70% said they "agree", which is much higher than 27% who "disagree".

In terms of party support, the ruling National Power Party was at 34%, the same as the previous survey, while the largest opposition party, the Commonwealth Democratic Party, rose 3 percentage points to 32%.
