The former athletic trainer of Marcello Lippi's Juventus, Gian Piero Ventrone, now at Antonio Conte's Tottenham, died today in Naples at the age of 62.
According to sources from the Fatebenefratelli hospital in Naples, the death occurred this morning at 6.45 am due to a cerebral hemorrhage.
He was hospitalized in intensive care since yesterday.
Ventrone had arrived at the emergency room of the Fatebenefratelli hospital in Naples on the evening of last October 4 and immediately put on mechanical ventilation because he was in a coma.
A few days ago he had discovered that he had acute myeloid leukemia.
