After diving from a hot air balloon last year, Australian Rhiannan Iffland jumped from a helicopter this time.

And it is in a dream setting that the high-flying diver achieved this feat on Tuesday, reports

L'Equipe.

The scene took place in the mythical bay of Sydney, opposite the famous opera house.

All smiles but also clearly impressed, the Australian rushed for a back somersault.

“I have made spectacular dives all over the world.

But here in Australia, against an iconic backdrop of my hometown, it's a dream moment,” acknowledged the six-time high diving world champion.

Bring home the cup

This extreme dive was organized just before the eighth and final stage of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series, which will take place in Syndey on October 15.

This is the first time that Rhiannan Iffland will jump in front of his public.

"I can't wait to be there in front of a screaming crowd, to experience this moment and feel the energy," the diver told Red Bull.

Crowned world champion at the end of round 7 in Polignano a Mare (Italy), Rhiannan Iffland can't wait to celebrate her title at home: "I'm going to hold this trophy above my head in front of my friends and my family. and ahead of the Australians.
