The police of Nîmes (Gard) carried out surprise checks on Tuesday afternoon in grocery stores in the city.

They seized 562 packets of contraband cigarettes, and 21 packets of shisha tobacco, in two establishments, located in the same street.

The agents of the Departmental Security drew up against them, in total, 10 fines, between 35 and 135 euros, indicates France Bleu Gard Lozère.

In one of the grocery stores checked on Tuesday afternoon, in addition to the fraudulent sale of tobacco, the police also uncovered suspicions of concealed work, they say.
