With regard to housing, MaPrimeRénov' support as well as a new aid "Heating boost for collective residential and tertiary buildings" will allow the connection of collective housing to a heating network for around 250 euros per apartment.

Incentives for soft mobility

Individuals wishing to equip themselves with an air/water heat pump will be able to benefit from financing of up to 9,000 euros.

The amount rises to 15,000 euros for wood pellet boilers.

The "heating programmer" bonus provides aid of 65 euros per household for the installation of a thermostat on an existing boiler.

In terms of transport, the government intends to support the French towards mobility that is more respectful of the environment and uses less energy.

As such, the Sustainable Mobility Package, granted to employees, will benefit from an "exemption from social security contributions up to 700 euros per year".

This package can be combined with the reimbursement of public transport up to 800 euros.

In addition, "the payment by the employer of the public transport or public bicycle service package (shared or leased) beyond the minimum 50% and up to 75% will be exempt from tax on the income and contributions," the document said.

A provision valid until "end of 2023".

The "bonuses" of energy suppliers

Finally, the executive wants to encourage households to be sober by setting up a "bonus system" on gas and electricity bills.

Thus, depending on the level of consumption of the accommodation, the various energy suppliers may offer discounts to their customers or increase prices during peak consumption.

This is the choice made by EDF for example.

In its so-called “Tempo” offers, the subscription price will be “reduced, around 30% less than a classic package”.

But during peak consumption, electricity will cost twice as much as on traditional subscriptions.

A way to encourage people to reduce their consumption.

TotalEnergies, for its part, opts for a different process by offering a bonus to all customers who reduce their electricity consumption "by at least 5% between November 31 and March 1".

A bonus "ranging from 30 to 120 euros, depending on the energy savings achieved", specifies the document.

As for Engie, it will be necessary to pass “challenges” on days of tension on the electricity network to benefit from a bonus.
