A teacher from a middle school in Caltanissetta was accused of sexual violence against a pupil.
The man would have abused his role to approach an 11-year-old several times to whom he would have addressed inappropriate phrases and palpated her breasts.
Only last June the girl found the strength to talk about it with a teacher who would then immediately inform the vice principal of the harassment.
But it seems that the matter has been hushed up or, in any case, that "the confidences have had no effect".
The complaint was triggered only when the young victim spoke to her parents.
During the investigations, the investigators listened to several schoolmates and friends of the eleven-year-old: "They too reported other inappropriate behaviors and inappropriate sentences uttered by the teacher in the classroom", explained the police.
The girl was then listened to by the investigating judge during an evidentiary incident in the presence of an expert psychologist.
The man is currently under house arrest.
