US calls North Korean missile launch "reckless and destabilizing"

The United States strongly condemns the dangerous and reckless decision of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) to launch a long-range ballistic missile over Japan. 

Washington noted that this destabilizing action demonstrates the DPRK's disregard for UN Security Council resolutions and international security standards.

Earlier it became known that the DPRK launched a ballistic missile.

The missile launched by the DPRK flew 4.6 thousand km and fell outside the exclusive economic zone of Japan.
