“The prosecutor's office sent to court a case against 18 members of the Aidar terrorist community,” RIA Novosti reported.
The defendants are members of the 24th separate assault battalion "Aidar", in which they committed actions aimed at forcibly seizing power and changing the constitutional order of the DPR.
According to the investigation, 11 people from the group received special training in order to carry out terrorist activities.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the battalion of the Aidar national formation lost more than half of its personnel during the fighting in the Zaitsev area in the Donetsk People's Republic.
