“On October 4, at 08:30 in the morning, a short-term explosion occurred in the synthesis shop of the Ammonia-1 production shop of the JSC Maksam-Chirchik enterprise, located in the city of Chirchik.
As a result, a fire broke out in the synthesis column of the shop," the report says.
It is noted that no one was injured in the incident.
“At the same time, no harmful substances and gases were released into the environment,” the report says.
Maksam-Chirchik JSC is the second largest producer of nitrogen fertilizers in Uzbekistan.
