The parade took place in the courtyard of the Louvre Palace, in the heart of a "monster flower" by the artist Philippe Parreno.

The giant mirrors reflected the complex scenography of the show with a circular podium.

The first run in a white ensemble with gigantic zippers and futuristic details on the shoulders and hips set the tone.

"Femininity is at the heart of the subject and Louis Vuitton invites itself to the debate: seeing it through emphasis, glorifying its complexity, growing it, giving it its full place", writes the artistic director of the women's collections Nicolas Ghesquière, in the parade note.

Buttons, buckles, huge clasps hold all the attention in this spring-summer 2023 collection, which takes another look at "the infinitely large and the infinitely small".

The intricately constructed above-the-knee A-line dresses form the centerpiece of the collection.

Structured, they are worn with tights and ankle boots with graphic wedge soles, providing a rock, romantic and relaxed look.

On the bag side, they are either tiny and colorful, or shaped like huge clutches with massive chains.

The pants are tight, textured and floral, lending themselves to an exercise in style to combine the unmistakable in terms of colors, cuts and prints, in a signature Vuitton look.

Here, it is worn sometimes with a bomber, sometimes with a trench.

Miu Miu, an Italian brand launched by Miuccia Prada for a younger and more affordable fashion, presented a collection combining the sexy with the functional.

The gray and beige of the outfits are brightened up by hybrid shoes between flip-flops and ankle boots in flashy colors.

Stylized "bumbag" type bags take the place of skirts and bustier and reveal white lingerie.

American star model Bella Hadid presented such a top paired with a low-rise skirt.

Large jackets reveal bare legs and stomachs.

And, a micro-skirt contrasts with a very formal white blouse and navy blue sweater, in a look presented by Tahliah Debrett Barnett aka FKA Twigs, British musician, producer and dancer.
