The Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) held its first meeting to consider measures for relieving the victims of the so-called psychic marketing law and other issues surrounding the former Unification Church. I confirmed the policy to put together.

On the 3rd, Prime Minister Kishida indicated his intention to consider reviewing laws and regulations related to consumer contracts in order to relieve victims of problems such as the so-called inspirational marketing law surrounding the former Unification Church.

On this issue, the Liberal Democratic Party held the first meeting of a subcommittee on the 4th to consider remedial measures for victims.

At the outset, Deputy Secretary-General Wakamiya, who serves as chairman of the subcommittee, said, ``Measures are meaningless unless they are highly effective. I want to train hard," he said.

At the meeting, members of the Diet who attended voiced calls for strengthening the consultation system for those who complained about the damage, and for support for the so-called "religious second generation," whose parents are members of the former Unification Church.

The subcommittee confirmed its policy to compile recommendations to the government within the year, bearing in mind revisions to laws and regulations related to consumer contracts.
