PJSC Gazprom reserves all its rights, including the right to completely stop supplies in case of violation of the obligation to pay for gas until October 20, 2022, as well as the right to terminate the contract at any time due to gross violation of the terms of the agreement on the settlement of the historical debt of JSC "Moldovagaz", - says the statement of "Gazprom".
in the future, any requests from the Moldovan side, involving changes in the contractual terms, will be made out "only in the form of appropriate additions to the contract," the press service added.
"Gazprom" recalls that "Moldovagaz" during the year regularly violated the terms of the contract on the deadline for payment for gas.
At the end of August, Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Spinu said that the Moldovan government would not have time to complete the audit of the debt of the gas distribution company Moldovagaz to Gazprom before October 1.
Moldovan President Maia Sandu admitted that the country has no alternative to Russian gas, since buying fuel on the market will be many times more expensive.
