“With gratitude for the sincere participation and active support of Donbass, I handed over the star of the Hero of the Donetsk People’s Republic to the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov,” Pushilin wrote on Telegram.
Pushilin also drew attention to the establishment of "fraternal relations" between the DPR and the Chechen Republic.
He stressed that the ties between the two republics will only be strengthened in the future.
Earlier, Kadyrov said that a detachment of fighters under the command of the Chechen commander Sultan Rashaev is ensuring a successful offensive along the front line in the Kherson direction.
According to him, the fighters have everything they need to perform operational tasks, regardless of their complexity and timing.
Kadyrov also reported that as a result of the actions of the Chechen special forces, the fortified areas of the Ukrainian national formations are crumbling like houses of cards.
