Håbo municipality is one of the few municipalities in the county with a completely flexible electricity contract.

The municipality is hit harder than others by the rising electricity prices.

The officials at the various administrations are investigating how the municipality can reduce its electricity use - and manage the economy.

Some proposals have already been committed to paper:

- It's about changing to led lights and the ventilation, says Mikael Mortensen, Acting CFO.

Wants government help

Other proposals are still being discussed.

And must ultimately be decided by the politicians.

One of them is to limit the opening hours of sports halls.

They are used by Håbo's sports clubs in the evening.

Municipal councilor Helene Zeland Bodin (C) believes that help is needed from the state to keep the halls open:
