Master's student Shamma Issa Al Neyadi, from the Department of Environmental Biology at the College of Science at the UAE University, was able to draw a scientific roadmap, which enabled her with a team of researchers and scientists at the university and international scientific research centers, most notably the "Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow in the Russian Federation", to achieve an achievement. My knowledge of the discovery of a new type of crustacean "Cladocera", in a number of areas, after field research in the Shuwaib Dam area in the UAE.

Shamaa Al Neyadi explained: “The reason for choosing biology as a specialization is my passion for science since childhood, because of my passion, desire and love for scientific exploration and anatomy, and knowledge of what is inside the formation of living microorganisms.”

She said that the "Lucida Camera", which is one of the latest devices in laboratories currently, enabled us to transfer what we see from under the microscope and draw it on paper, and the main reason for using it is to transfer a detailed image of the organism under the microscope, and to make an accurate drawing of all the details of this microscopic organism, In addition to using the images as a clear scientific evidence in the research and scientific fields, and more accurately than the normal microscopic image.

Al Neyadi pointed out: “My choice came to study the crustaceans (Crustacera) in particular, due to the lack of scientific discoveries in this field for many reasons, including the lack of fresh water bodies, in addition to the country’s climate, and the lack of studies of fresh water to preserve it, or Unavailability of in-depth studies of salinity.

Al Neyadi added: "My vision for the future in this field is that if scientific discoveries continue, we can build a national database for the UAE, containing information about all crustacean organisms present in the country, and researching their origins, in addition to the fact that this field is currently new in the country, and if attention is given to The largest, it can be transformed from a scientific project to an economic project, especially since crustaceans can be used as safe and sustainable food in fisheries and fish farming projects, as marine food in a clean and safe environment.”
